Hungarian GP: Max Verstappen admits Ferrari have pace advantage over Red Bull after Friday practice

Red Bull's Max Verstappen believes Ferrari will be difficult to beat this weekend at the Hungarian GP after the Scuderia topped the timesheets in both Friday practice sessions. Led by just Carlos Sainz in P1, then bested by both Ferraris and McLaren's Lando Norris in P2 as Charles Leclerc went fastest, Verstappen consistently found himself a couple of tenths off the pace at the Hungaroring.

The 12th edition of the contest was as competitive as ever and saw both the Australian Spirit men’s and women’s teams emerge victorious against their French counterparts. For many AFL fans, the name Justin Clarke may trigger a forgotten memory. In early 2016 however, the former Booleroo local’s name would have been on many supporters’ lips, particularly Brisbane Lions’ fans – his former club. At that time, Clarke’s best football seemed ahead of him. The 22-year-old defender, with 56 career games already under his belt, had spent the previous season solidifying himself as a key cog in the Lions’ backline.
