Red Bull's Max Verstappen believes Ferrari will be difficult to beat this weekend at the Hungarian GP after the Scuderia topped the timesheets in both Friday practice sessions. Led by just Carlos Sainz in P1, then bested by both Ferraris and McLaren's Lando Norris in P2 as Charles Leclerc went fastest, Verstappen consistently found himself a couple of tenths off the pace at the Hungaroring.

Alcohol tag scheme to expand after successful trials in England and Wales

Alcohol tags help offenders guilty of drink-fuelled crime to maintain sobriety upon their release. Since the scheme was introduced in England by the Ministry of Justice one year ago, following a successful pilot in Wales, over 3,121 offenders have been monitored by the tags, with more than 3,000 staying sober – a 97% success rate. A single mum claims her family is being put in danger after her two-year-old son fell through floorboards twice in two months. Donna Milne, 30, moved into a basement flat in Aberdeen in February and says she has faced nothing but issues ever since. She alleges the kitchen has flooded four times over the period.
